Things to consider when buying shower panels


One of the most important components of any home is the bathroom, and more importantly a means for having a shower. The shower component needs to be used at least daily, and it should be able to provide you with the satisfaction to start and also finish off your day right. And therefore, the decision to choose the right type of shower panel mustn’t be made in haste. There are many factors that need to be considered when choosing sanitaryware products, especially shower panels.

First of all, one would need to know the type of shower-tower that could be accommodated by the home. Identify the type of water system that you have had installed in your property, and also record the water pressure level that it currently provides. Keep in mind that all the shower panel systems aren’t compatible with all water systems.

Gravity-fed water system

With gravity-fed water system, both cold and hot-water tanks are included. The cold tank is often stored in the attic area, and the hot section is generally stored in the airing cupboard. Unvented water system

Here, cylinder tanks hold the hot water keeping it under pressure. Generally, unvented water system would be found in airing cupboard or in garage space.

Mains water system
It consists of one combination boiler or a gas/electric water heater. These type of water system is compatible with all types of shower panel systems.
